CONECT Transformation Task Force

What is a Transformation Task Force?

Click here to download the brochure "How to Form A Transformation Task Force."  -  "Transformation" means a complete change.  "Task force" means a group of people (military units) and resources brought together on a temporary basis to accomplish a specific mission.  For those who desire to see their cities transformed they have to consider every sphere of society within that city or region.  You cannot transform a city completely without affecting every sphere of society.  God has placed people in churches, cities, regions, professions, etc... where it pleased him.  Who would know better about transformation in healthcare than a Christian called to work within that area.

Proverbs teaches us that there is wisdom in a multitude of council and that a wise man scales the city of the mighty and brings down the trusted stronghold.   There are seven spheres in every society.  Wisdom dictates that we need to find those Christian leaders/ministries called to each area and glean their council. Specifically we want to discover who are the catalysts that God has placed in each sphere of each community.  In Ephesians 4:11, 1 Corinthians 12:28 and 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 there are two gifts that serve as catalysts and they are the gift of apostle and prophet.  We do not want to get into a theological discussion but what we want to do is look for the function in people's lives.  The movers and shakers, the leaders with divine strategy and the courage to initiate and the wisdom to build typically have these gifts functioning in their lives in some measure.  The idea is to discover the gifts God has given in each sphere, honor them and be blessed through the wisdom, synergy and strategy they offer.  I sincerely believe God has placed these gifts in almost every community.

Therefore a "Transformation Task Force" is a group of leaders linked by a common passion to see transformation occur within a common geographic area such as a city, county or state.  The "Transformation Task Force" should be made up of kingdom minded leaders from the seven spheres of society.

Church, Family, Business, Government, Media, Education & Health-care

Typically leaders from each of the various spheres can be working in the same geographical area but are totally unaware of what God is doing in the others spheres of society.  The leaders who are part of the Transformation Task Force are leaders who have a passion to see society transformed.  They also realize that that it is going to take the whole body of Christ working together to accomplish that transformation.  Therefore they join with other like minded leaders from the various spheres of society in order to seek Lord to determine the best way we can help each other as we work together to transform our state, county, city or community.

How is a Transformation Task Force (TTF) Formed?

God has given a strategy in Operation Rolling Thunder that harnesses the momentum of national and international prayer events while simultaneously initiating the process to gather the leaders from all seven spheres around a vision and a goal that is bigger than all of us.  The church in a city, county, state or region has the opportunity to "pray globally" while "connecting locally" all who are passionate about transforming their common territory.  The book Operation Rolling Thunder has the complete strategy along with "how to's" and testimonies of the results.  For a sampling of testimonies click here.  To order your copy of Operation Rolling Thunder click here.  To see what others have had to say about ORT click here.

Operation Rolling Thunder's strategy consists of two phases.  In Phase 1 national and international prayer events are used to initate the drawing together and initial forming of a TTF.

In Phase II a Chapter of CONECT and training for CONECTers, leaders, watchmen and intercessors are provided to maintain the 24/7 prayer over the common territory 365 days a year while simultaneously maintaining the TTF in order to develop local prayer and outreach transformation strategies.

Operations of a Transformation Task Force Summarized

A "Transformation Task Force" is made up of leaders who are usually already very busy within their assigned sphere.  Often times they may actually span two or three spheres.  To effect transformation in a city will require coordination and teamwork.  Communication is essential to teamwork. That is one of the primary functions of a CONECTer.

A CONECTer is one whose primary tasks consists of providing a central point of contact for a diverse group of leaders in a certain area such as a city or a county.  They also liaison with other CONECTers.  For example the CONECTer in a city serves their Transformation Task Force (TTF) but also links with the County CONECTer too.  They perform several functions such as seeking appropriate leaders to be part of this Task Force within their assigned territory.  They assist in mobilizing and coordinating a 24 hour prayer watch in their city or county.  They also facilitate the gathering of spiritual intelligence from watchmen and intercessors.  This can be gleaned from prayer walking, historical research, demographic research, and gather prophetic reports as it relates to their area.  That information is compiled and presented to the Transformation Task Force, so that they can seek the Lord for strategy.

The information provided will give leaders the most comprehensive overview of their area they have ever had and will help them establish the baseline for transformation in their community.  Then, they can seek the Lord for transformation strategies appropriate for their county, city or community.

If you are a leader and would like to see a Transformation Task Force established in your church, city, county, state, or region then order the book Operation Rolling Thunder and click here to learn How to Form a Chapter of CONECT.
